Sherry's Potatoes

Yield: 1 (9x13-inch) casserole
Ingredients:
2 (10.5 ounce) cans cream of chicken soup
1 pint sour cream
1 ½ cups grated Cheddar cheese
½ cup dehydrated onion flakes or fresh (I sautéed in butter to soften before adding)
1 (30 ounce) package frozen shredded hash browns, thawed
1 cup crushed potato chips
Directions:
Gather all ingredients. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
Combine condensed soup, sour cream, Cheddar cheese, and onion flakes in a large bowl.
Mix in hash browns until well combined.
Pour into a 9x13-inch casserole dish. Sprinkle with potato chips.
Bake uncovered in the preheated oven until cheese is melted and the top is crisp, about 45 minutes.

You can use mild, medium, or sharp Cheddar.
Add cubed ham to make a satisfying main dish.
